Khalid was a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary PhD program, researching the impact of medical and technical familiarity on the use of patient-facing systems. He is now a faculty member at King Saud University. 

Akshay completed his MACS (applied master’s) degree in January 2020. He worked on a VR curling simulation with an augmented curling broom controller.

Hossein is a PhD candidate in the GEM Lab. He studies virtual co-presence in the context of working with 3D content on tabletop displays and inside virtual environments (mixed presence collaborative environments).

Rob is a Master’s student studying mobile app design techniques for use by children and youth.

Vijai is an iOS/Android mobile application developer, pursuing Master of Applied Computer Science at Dal. He collaborated with the GEM Lab in designing and implementing an interactive iPad interface/dashboard for Marine Vessels that involves interesting research in major domains such

Juliano is computer engineer pursing his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Reilly.  He is interested in collaborative immersive visualization of geospatial data and interaction techniques for virtual and augmented reality. You can find more information his personal website.
