Matt is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Joseph Malloch. Matt is currently researching at the intersection of Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Machine Learning (ML) and Digital Musical Instruments (DMIs) to explore novel and creative methods for musical expression and creativity.
Matt has previously worked with Dr. Malloch during his undergraduate Honours Thesis on defining representations for hand-tracking data. A primary goal of his project was to enable different users with different use cases to utilize their data in an efficient manner.
